Kroger Manufacturing’s Clackamas Bakery needed to update their 11 year old Employee Handbook’s content as well as have a more modern look.
As part of the process of deleting, revising, or adding sections to the Handbook, the Bakery’s HR Manager and subject matter experts were often consulted. With an updated Employee Handbook, Bakery employees better understood the Clackamas Bakery’s current policies and practices, reducing the likelihood of costly misunderstandings and mistakes. CMS Content Management System Training Guide: Fred Meyer |

Having a web browser-based content management system (CMS) for their internal web site, Fred Meyer needed to train designated employees in correctly using the CMS software and to handle the most common CMS tasks on their own.
Consulting with IT subject matter experts and using the software to learn it, the Training Guide was completed in approximately six weeks. The result was less reliance on IT or other CMS experts within the company for help in using the software, reduced support costs, and improved productivity. Adobe Photoshop Crash Course Student Handbook: Fred Meyer |

To have more employees skilled in Photoshop, the Fred Meyer training department decided to provide a training course in how to use Adobe Photoshop.
A 4-hour training course was developed, with the Student Handbook being its main tutorial and reference. The Handbook was completed in approximately two months. Those who took the course and used the Handbook became more proficient in using Photoshop to edit bitmap images on their own.
